In 2016, not long after the release of the 'Rekindled' album, I released an improvised E.P. (my first) called 'Jupiter Wrens'. Spacey and abstract, it was the complete opposite of the very composed type of progressive folk music that is my main modus operandi.

When working on this new music, it felt as if this music, although much more composed, fitted in with the Jupiter Wrens feel of space and electronics - so this is the first (and hopefully not the last) Jupiter Wrens album.

As said, this is an album to be experienced. The epic title track demands and deserves dedicated time and attention for one to truly comprehend the deep trip it is: a trip whose sonic petals gradually blossom into an expansive, exquisite bloom, complete with spacey, ethereal, Floydian guitar solos and suspenseful, undulating rhythms. It’s evolving soundscape is truly a treat worth savouring. The recording is clear and high quality. All aboard, Major Tom! Highly recommended. 8.5/10. Alrihkh
